To obtain a permanent residence permit, the applicant must provide the following documents:
✓Documents confirming uninterrupted residence in Poland;
✓ A valid travel document;
✓One of the documents verifying the information in the application (e.g., a marriage certificate or a child's birth certificate);

They are the child of a Polish citizen and remain under their parental care.
They were born while their parent was residing in Poland based on:
✓ A residence permit granted for humanitarian reasons,
✓A tolerated stay permit in connection with being granted refugee status or subsidiary protection.
They were born in Poland while their parent already held a permanent residence permit or a long-term EU resident permit at the time of birth.
▬ A minor may obtain a permanent residence permit if they meet one of the following conditions: ▬
They are the child of a foreigner who holds a permanent residence permit or a long-term EU resident permit.
▬ To obtain a permanent residence permit, one must be of Polish origin and express a desire to settle in Poland permanently, as well as meet one of the following conditions: ▬
Have resided in Poland for 4 years based on a temporary residence permit issued for employment in a profession deemed desirable for the Polish economy and have a stable source of income.
Have resided in Poland for 10 years based on a tolerated stay permit (granted due to the inability to return to one’s home country because it would endanger their life, freedom, or safety).
Have resided in Poland for 5 years based on:
✓ Subsidiary protection;
✓ A residence permit granted for humanitarian reasons;
✓ Refugee status.
As a victim of human trafficking, have resided in Poland for at least 1 year based on a temporary residence permit, cooperated with law enforcement authorities in criminal proceedings, or have well-founded fears of returning to their home country (such fears must be confirmed by the prosecutor handling the human trafficking case).

Be married to a Polish citizen for at least 3 years and have additionally resided in Poland for at least 2 years based on:
✓ A temporary residence permit;
✓ Refugee status;
✓ Subsidiary protection;
✓ A residence permit granted for humanitarian reasons.
A positive decision results in the issuance of a permanent residence permit by the voivode.
In the case of a negative decision, the applicant has the right to appeal to the Head of the Office for Foreigners within 14 days of receiving the decision.
