If the application is approved, the voivode will issue a decision granting a temporary residence permit.
In case of a negative decision, the applicant may appeal to the Head of the Office for Foreigners within 14 days of receiving the decision.
A temporary residence permit (temporary residence card) is a document that allows a foreign national to legally stay in Poland. This permit enables individuals to reside in Poland for more than three months and grants the right to cross the border multiple times without the need for a visa.
The temporary residence card is valid for three years. The permit cannot be extended; therefore, once the temporary residence card expires, a new application for a temporary residence permit must be submitted.
To obtain a temporary residence permit, the applicant must submit documents such as:
